Our Summer Mission Trip to the Dominican Republic is a powerful opportunity to serve alongside a local church and make a lasting impact in surrounding communities while sharing the love of Christ.
Throughout the trip, we’ll participate in a variety of outreach ministries, each offering a meaningful way to serve. Our Vacation Bible School (VBS) teams will reach hundreds of children across multiple villages, sharing the hope, joy, and truth of God’s Word. Through our Isaiah 58 food outreach, teams will provide food to families facing hardship, meeting practical needs and offering encouragement. We’ll also have special opportunities to minister to children in a local hospital and/or at an orphanage, bringing compassion, comfort, and the love of Jesus to children who need it most.
For those who enjoy hands-on service, there will be construction projects for every skill level. From painting and small repairs to masonry and helping build new structures, there are plenty of ways to put your hands to work and make a difference.
No matter how you serve, you’ll have the opportunity to build relationships, encourage others, grow in your faith, and be part of what God is doing in the Dominican Republic.
Who Should Go?
Everyone has a place on this mission trip! With a wide variety of ministry opportunities, this trip is designed for everyone—from preteens to “mature” adults. You don’t need previous mission trip experience or special skills to participate. Whether you love working with children, serving families, caring for others, or tackling hands-on projects, there’s a place for you.
Come with a willing heart, a spirit of service, and a desire to share the love of Christ. You may arrive ready to make a difference in the lives of others, but you’ll likely discover that God uses the experience to change your heart, too.
